Rates (seasons) - The rates you see at the bottom of individual cabins pages are a range. The lowest would be for 2-4 adults (dependant upon cabin) in our winter season (January 2nd - March 15th, normally) and the highest rate would be for 2-4 adults (dependant upon cabin) for holidays.

We understand this can be confusing and do apologize. There is someone available toll free 7 days per week at 1-800-731-8050 or 1-888-572-7001 that will be happy to explain and give you our rates. If you prefer email, just pick your preferred cabin, dates and email them to us. We will get back to you ASAP!

Deposits - This is actually an initial payment ($100 or 25%) and not a deposit. This amount is deducted from the total amount for your cabin and is obviously not a refundable "deposit". Example: Total rental amount = $500.00. Less deposit of 25% ($125.00) leaves a balance due at check-in of $375.00.

Sheets - All sheets and blankets are provided plus, a couple extra in the closets

Towels - Bath towels are provided at the rate of 1 per day, per person. Hand and dish towels are also provided. If you plan on using the hot tub, bringing extra towels is recommended

Soap and toiletries - Hand and diswasher detergent are provided. You will need to bring soap and shampoo

Hair Dryers - Are not provided. You will need to bring your own

Grills - All cabins have charcoal grills. Charcoal and lighter fluid are not provided

Pets - Many cabins are pet friendly. Please check with us prior to bringing your pet. There is a $45 pet cleaning fee for 1 dog or $60 for 2 dogs. If you have a pet other than a dog, please check with us first. This is a non-refundable fee.

Also, a check or cash deposit of $100 for each pet. The $100 deposit is refundable post visit if there is no damage

Keys - We use lock boxes that are attached to each cabin. Upon reserving your cabin you will be emailed a "key-code" to open this box

Grocery Stores - We have 3 local, fairly large grocery stores less than 15 minutes from any cabin. Ingles is the largest with the best variety. They should have any items you require

Water & Streams - Although we have no water or streams on the property, you are less than 1 mile from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Located within its boundaries you will find many miles of creeks, rivers and waterfalls. Flowing thru town we have the Tuckaseigee River. This is a popular river for canoes and kayaks

Fontana Lake - Largest dam east of the Mississippi. The lake can be accessed from town. Larger commercial boat docks are about 15 minutes from Bryson City

Whitewater Rafting - The Nantahala Gorge has many rafting companies and is 15 minutes from town. Check our chamber of commerce site for more detailed information http://greatsmokies.com/rafting.asp

Alocholic Beverages - Beer and wine are available at all local grocery stores and convenience stores. Bottled spirits are available at the local ABC store Monday-Saturday. There are several bars in town and most restaurants serve mixed drinks, wine and beer

Fireplaces - All cabins have gas-log or wood burning fireplaces or stoves. All gas-log fireplaces are turned off May 15th - September 15th. All wood-burning fireplaces are open year-round. Bundles of firewood are available for purchase locally.

Hot Tubs - All cabins have hot tubs and are open year-round. Each tub is cleaned and chemically balanced prior to your arrival

Directions - Directions to your cabin are emailed once your resrvation is complete. For directions to Bryson City, use the destination address 24 Fry Street, Bryson City, NC 28713

Deposits - A deposit in the amount of $100 or 25% (whichever is greater) of the rental amount is required. Deposits can be paid via credit card or check. We accept all major credit cards

Cooking Utensils - All are provided. If you are a "Rachael Ray" chef requiring speciality pans, etc., you will need to provide those

Eating Utensils - All are provided. This includes plates, silverware, drinking glasses, etc.

Internet Access - Most cabins have phones where dial-up can be accessed. There is no DSL, etc. at any cabin. Please check when reserving your cabin if it has a phone

Phones - Many cabins have phones. Please check when making your reservation if this is something you require. Most cell phones work in this area. Check with your cell provider for coverage in the 28713 zip code

Outdoor Firepits - Some cabins have outdoor firepits. Please check when reserving.

Important Note: Due to our prolonged drought, all outdoor fires now require a permit issued by the county

Distance to town - Most cabins are 5-10 minutes or less. Some cabins are 15 minutes. The furthest cabin from town is 7 miles. But, these are mountain roads so it takes a little longer

Discounts - All active military receive 5% off, always. Return guests receive a 5% discount. Return guest (2 times or more) receive 10%. Stays of 4 nights or more are usually discounted 5-20%. Please check available offers when reserving

Bed sizes - All cabins have either queen or king beds in the master bedroom. Please check when reserving if you require a king bed. Most cabins are equipped with 1 queen bed and 2 twin beds

Minimum night stay - Most of the year we have a 2 night minimum. All holidays require a 3 night minimum. Please check when reserving

Are there water activities such as canoeing, rafting in the area - Yes, we are one of the most popular whitewater areas in the country. Please check with our chamber of commerce site for listings of local outfitters. http://greatsmokies.com/rafting.asp

Are the cabins handicap accessible - At this time we have no handicap accessible cabins. We do have cabins with 1 or 2 steps to get inside. These cabins also have the main bedroom, bathroom and kitchen on the lower floor
